Description :
The Operations Associate will be responsible for two key areas of MAMAGREEN’s business: Account and Operations support. This position works closely with Freight Operations, Account Management, and Sales, to provide exceptional service to external customers. The Operations Associate will assist the operations team with customer communication and warehouse management. This position reports directly to and works closely with the MAMAGREEN Operations Manager.
The Operations Associate will be responsible for two key areas of MAMAGREEN’s business: Account and Operations support. This position works closely with Freight Operations, Account Management, and Sales, to provide exceptional service to external customers. The Operations Associate will assist the operations team with customer communication and warehouse management. This position reports directly to and works closely with the MAMAGREEN Operations Manager.
Responsibilities – What you will do :
- Pick, stage, and ship parcel and freight goods
- Record shipment data, process shipments via customer software and ensure shipments are
loaded on the appropriate carrier - Assist customers with order status, warranty claim, and general service requests
- Fulfill customer and internal requests for marketing and product sample materials
- Perform cycle counts to verify the accuracy of inventory
- Assist the operations team with other duties & projects as assigned
Experience – What we look for :
- 2+ years experience in customer service role preferred
- 3+ years of warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery or inventory management
preferred - Knowledge of WMS and Microsoft Office. Fishbowl experience a plus
- Ability to show sound judgment and initiative to accomplish assigned duties/responsibilities
without close supervision - Experience in a furniture company is a plus
- Able to work in a changing environment and growing organization
Requirements :
- High school Diploma or local equivalent
- Background check, required
- Dependable, flexible, and punctual
- The ability to lift up to 70lbs
- Operate a forklift a plus, or we will get you to get certified
